Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) under the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana has released a new notification for Solar Water Pumping Systems for Farmers in Haryana. Eligible farmers can now apply online on the SARAL Haryana Portal to get solar pumps at 75% subsidy.
🔆 About Haryana Solar Water Pumping Scheme 2025
The Haryana Government invites online applications from farmers for installing solar pumps under the PM Kusum Yojana. Through the SARAL portal, farmers can avail up to 75% government subsidy on solar pumps ranging from 3 HP to 10 HP.
✅ Key Highlights:

Subsidy: 75% government grant on solar water pumps.

Pump Capacity: From 3 HP to 10 HP, both surface and submersible.

Priority: Given to farmers with existing electric pump connections (UHBVN / DHBVN) who are willing to surrender them.

Selection Criteria: Based on annual family income and land holding.

Installation: Farmers only need to drill the bore; pump installation is done by the listed vendors.
📋 Eligibility Criteria

Valid Family ID (PPP)

No existing solar pump in applicant's or family’s name.

No existing electric pump on applicant’s name.

Agricultural land in the applicant’s name.

Micro-irrigation system is mandatory in areas where groundwater is below 100 feet, as per HWRA survey.

Paddy-growing farmers with groundwater below 40 meters (as per HWRA report) are not eligible.
