Gas Cylinder Subsidy for Eligible Families

The EPDS Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme, launched by the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department, Haryana, provides a gas cylinder subsidy for families with an annual income of ₹1.8 lakh or less as verified in their Family ID (PPP). All BPL ration cardholders and families meeting the income criteria are eligible for this subsidy, directly transferred to the head of the family’s bank account via DBT.

Scheme Name: Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme

Objective: To provide affordable gas cylinders to low-income families, improving ease of living for around 50 lakh families with BPL or AAY ration cards in Haryana.

Launch Date: August 12, 2024, by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Haryana Teej.

Subsidy Details: Beneficiaries can obtain a gas cylinder at a subsidized rate of ₹500, with the excess amount directly reimbursed to their bank account.

Eligibility for the Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme

1. Income Requirement: Family income must be verified at or below ₹1.8 lakh in the PPP Family ID.
2. BPL/AAY Ration Card: Applicants must possess a BPL (yellow) or AAY (pink) ration card.
3. Linked Bank Account: The bank account should be linked with the Aadhaar number to receive the subsidy.
4. Residence: Only residents of Haryana holding BPL or AAY cards, as well as beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, are eligible.

Steps to Apply for the Har Ghar Har Grihni Scheme

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the EPDS Haryana Website.
2. Fill Out Registration Form: Select the “Registration Form” option and follow the instructions.
3. Enter Family ID: After selecting "Yes" for Family ID, enter the ID and send OTP to verify.
4. OTP Verification: Enter the received OTP on the portal and confirm.
5. Confirm Details: Verify all pre-filled details, especially bank account info linked to your Family ID.
6. Select LPG Connection Name: Choose the family member's name on whom the LPG connection is issued.
7. Fill in Details: Complete all highlighted fields accurately, ensuring the bank account is Aadhaar-linked.
8. Submit Form: Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
9. Check Registration Status: After one or two weeks, check your registration status online.
